
Jeanne Denney

Jeanne is a transpersonal and somatic psychotherapist, educator, and author of The Effects of Compassionate Presence on the Dying. Jeanne spent years at bedsides with the elderly and dying, in the chair as a somatic therapist, and has contributed pioneering ideas to both somatic psychology and death education. She was involved with the creation of the Art of Dying projects in New York City where she still teaches. She also teaches in somatic institutes internationally. The Founding Director and Teacher of SoULL, Jeanne has developed the majority of curriculum for SoULL.

Andrea Pollak
LMFT, CCEP. Assistant director, Teacher, Facilitator,Guidance Team
Andrea is a licensed marriage and family therapist and core energetics practitioner from Connecticut who emphasizes the importance of working with the whole person: mind, body, spirit, and soul. She has trainings and certification in Group work, Gestalt Therapy, Healing, Grief work and SoULL. She also serves on the board of Prevent- Heal-Thrive, a nonprofit providing unique support for cancer patients. With SoULL from the beginning, Andrea has been instrumental in supporting the school’s development, the SoULL community and students.

Liz Carl
LCSW. Teacher, Facilitator, Board Member,Guidance Team
Liz Carl has been a somatic psychotherapist and licensed social worker for 33 years, treating individuals, couples and groups. She is also a Founding Co-Director of the Core Energetics Polska somatic therapist training program in Poland, and a Teacher and Supervisor for Various Core Energetics Institutes internationally. Liz has been with SoULL from its maiden voyage in 2018, supporting its development every step of the way, and now serves in many roles, including Teacher, Board Member and Facilitator.
